May I use the same clip more than once?

Our licensing model limits the use of licensed footage to one project, but it may be used in an unlimited number of times in that project. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

What do you mean by „one project“?

“One Project“ means one specific film, including downcuts for different media.

Can I test the video material before I buy it?

Yes. There is a free, low-resolution, watermarked download available for every video listed on this site.

Which file formats do you offer?

Videos are provided as .mov files in Apple ProRes 422 codec in the specified resolution, or as .mov files in Apple ProRes 422 HQ codec if you choose RAW/LOG to purchase.

I’m looking for very specific footage, can you help me?

Sure! Just get in touch and tell us, what you are searching for. If we don‘t have it, we can shoot it for you in line with your requirements.

What are the licensing terms?

All of our clips can always be used anywhere in the world and in any media, but are limited to use in just one project. If you want to use it in another project, the clip must be licensed again for the new project.

We don‘t restrict our footage to special clients. Please feel free to use it also in political campaigns or whatsoever. BUT: Always in line with our terms of use.
Short: No use in context of encouragement of violence, pornography, abomination, racism, hate and discrimination against any person or based on race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, community or nationality, threats, violating privacy, slander and any other insulting content

Can I get a receipt/invoice?

Yes, you’ll be sent your invoice by e-mail once you’ve made your purchase. It will also be available for download in your user profile.

May I use StockDeck-Footage in product advertising?

Yes! But: Our service offers footage requiring authorization from specific institutions for use in product advertising. The licensee is responsible for obtaining the relevant authorization for the footage.
Footage requiring authorization for non-editorial use is usually clearly highlighted. Information about the release statuses is without guarantee and customers are responsible for ensuring they do not infringe the rights of others.
